Tanner Edwards, LCSW

Tanner is a licensed clinical therapist with fourteen years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Kansas. Before founding Open Psychotherapy, she worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs and on a standard DBT team, where she spearheaded an RO-DBT program and treated numerous clients with a history of childhood trauma.

Tanner has trained with the creator of RO-DBT, Thomas Lynch, and with multiple founding pioneers in ERP through the International OCD Foundation’s intensive training program. She feels honored to be part of her clients’ personal growth and is committed to being not only knowledgeable but also humorous and sincere.

In her free time, Tanner enjoys watching indie films, traveling to national parks, and spending time with her friends, partner, and two cats, Florence and Dolores.
